Tip1: Always buy fresh coffee

Always buy fresh coffee. If you unable to visit the market due to some pre-occupancy then let the internet do it for you. Select an online coffee shop and select your favorite coffee and buy coffee online by placing an order. The bag will be delivered right at your doorstep. Some even offer cash on delivery which means you can do the payment when you receive the packet.

Never freeze the powdered coffee or coffee beans as it affects the taste of the coffee. Store your coffee beans in an air-tight container so as to prevent them from getting stale.

While going to buy coffee beans or ground coffee, try some different coffee flavors. Make sure you buy them in small quantity. Check out if it is Robusta or Arabica or a mixture of both.

Tip4: Grind yourself

Try to buy coffee beans and grind them fresh. A cup of coffee brewed from fresh beans is more aromatic and tastier than brewing from pre-packed grounded coffee.

Tip5: Go for correct measurements

Always remember to have a fair amount of ground coffee while brewing. A lesser coffee will not have the desired taste. If you are preparing an espresso coffee at home, use 7 grams for every shot. Coffee is all about flavor and taste.

Tip6: Avoid Reheating

Coffee loses its flavor on reheating and will result in a foul taste. Also, don’t add boiling water after the coffee is brewed; this can result in burning and changing the taste of the original coffee.

Tip7: Use a thermometer

140o F is perfect for steaming the milk. If the temperature exceeds, it may lead to burning of milk leading to a foul taste.

4 Remarkable and Impressive Coffee Recipes: Espresso Martini, Mocha Margarita, Mint Mojito and Horchata Coffee Cocktail

Gone are the days when a simple cup of hot coffee was served after the meals just like Classic Mexican Coffee, Spanish Coffee and Irish One. People are still fond of them but the new generation is more attracted over cocktails. Cocktails are special kind of Alchemy which creates a smooth and magical effect when coffee and alcohol get engaged over ice. Coffee does the work of adding a bitter yet chocolaty effect to the iced-alcohol. This refreshing drink is responsible for the resurgence of coffee cocktails in the coffee market. Initially, cocktail was used by college students for late study nights but now this trend has turned into an entirely new genre of libations which ranges from cold brew concoctions to spiked espresso shots.

I will share with you three cocktail recipes and one Iced Coffee Drink. Horchata Coffee, Espresso Martini and Mocha margarita are shaken Cocktails while Mint Mojito is a perfect iced coffee for non-alcohol drinkers.

Shaker

Before moving ahead I would like to tell about equipment used for shaking. You can use a cocktail shaker or a sturdy jar. I prefer using cobbler-style shaker set as suggested by Mixologist website. As the shaker is made from stainless steel, there is no risk of breaking the glass and above all, steel helps to chill the drink incredibly fast.

Add ice to your mug
Add coffee to the filter and shake the coffee dripper for even settling of coffee
Pre-infuse the coffee and finish off the brewing process.
Muddle together mint leaves (say 10 leaves) and raw sugar until they are crushed and fragrant.
Add coffee into a pitcher and then add sugar and mint concoction and stir it continuously.
Add ice and top it with a creamy layer of milk and few mint leaves.
Serve Chilled.
To make it tastier you have to be a little patient then. The more the coffee stays in the mug, the more delicious it turned out to be. In fact, keeping the sugar and mint concoction for few minutes in the refrigerator is worth a try.
