Coffee Franchise Opportunities: Five points to watch out for a Perfect One

The Coffee World is expanding and is demanding some motivated and passionate entrepreneurs to join the squad and take the coffee experience to new levels. There are certainly two choices either to go for an individual business or opt for a franchise. People have a misconception that going for a Franchise will mean loss of freedom. But this is totally false. The franchise companies emerging these days offer complete freedom and control of the franchisee. Be it an event management franchise or coffee franchise, there are certain points to watch out for while selecting a franchise. Let’s dig them.

java-daves-coffee-1.jpg

Point1: Is it for you?

Read more about franchise, check out the concepts, talk to your friends about what all things are required for running a franchise business. Do check the company profile, is it the right one you want to select? Do you have the right kind of business acumen, dedication, commitment level and motivation which they want?

articleimage (1).jpg

Point 2: Evaluate the Franchisor

Once you have finalized the business, then next step is to look out for the companies offering franchise and evaluate them. There are many franchise options available across the world. It’s not only about money or taste of the coffee but also how comfortable are you with their rules and regulations. How the franchise train the employees? Do they offer help in case you are in some problem? All these things matter a lot.

Point 3: Check the Vision of the Franchisor

One another aspect to look for us that just check what is the ultimate growth of the franchisor. If his goal is to grow along with his franchisees, then this opportunity is not to be left. Grab it right away. But in case, the franchisor only believes in getting his company established globally and have no growth plans or strategies for the enrolled franchisees, then leave it. Serve less but serve the best should be the aim.

pic 4.jpg

Point 4: Legal side of franchising

There will be a lot of legalities involved while officially getting a franchise. You must read the documents very carefully and understand all the implication of violation of any rules set by the franchisor.

There is always a plus point involved while taking up any franchise over starting a new business from scratch. The risk involved is much lower as compared to other individual business. Moreover, you don’t have to spend a single penny on the marketing and promotional campaign. The company bears it all. Even if you are a novice in business, these companies impart proper training to you and your staff as your success is theirs too.

4 Remarkable and Impressive Coffee Recipes: Espresso Martini, Mocha Margarita, Mint Mojito and Horchata Coffee Cocktail

Gone are the days when a simple cup of hot coffee was served after the meals just like Classic Mexican Coffee, Spanish Coffee and Irish One. People are still fond of them but the new generation is more attracted over cocktails. Cocktails are special kind of Alchemy which creates a smooth and magical effect when coffee and alcohol get engaged over ice. Coffee does the work of adding a bitter yet chocolaty effect to the iced-alcohol. This refreshing drink is responsible for the resurgence of coffee cocktails in the coffee market. Initially, cocktail was used by college students for late study nights but now this trend has turned into an entirely new genre of libations which ranges from cold brew concoctions to spiked espresso shots.

9.jpg

I will share with you three cocktail recipes and one Iced Coffee Drink. Horchata Coffee, Espresso Martini and Mocha margarita are shaken Cocktails while Mint Mojito is a perfect iced coffee for non-alcohol drinkers.

Shaker

Before moving ahead I would like to tell about equipment used for shaking. You can use a cocktail shaker or a sturdy jar. I prefer using cobbler-style shaker set as suggested by Mixologist website. As the shaker is made from stainless steel, there is no risk of breaking the glass and above all, steel helps to chill the drink incredibly fast.

Coffee

Regarding which coffee to use, I would recommend using an espresso or extremely strong coffee. It is indeed the quality and flavor of coffee which can drastically enhance the flavor and taste of final product.

So, Let’s Begin exploring the delicacy of coffee.

d01ed9e83c12532d880550512d208677.jpg

1.     Horchata Coffee Cocktail: A refreshing mix of rum, Horchata, coffee and cinnamon.

Taste of Horchata is more like sweet coconut milk. Yes!! It’s a milky drink made from ground almonds, rice and tigernuts.  It is available easily in the grocery stores and is found in both liquid and powder form. You can make it at home as well.

Ingredients:

2 ounces Horchata
1 ounce rum (either white or dark)
3 ounces of espresso or strong coffee
Grounded cinnamon
Crushed ice

Combine all the ingredients except cinnamon powder in a cocktail shaker and SHAKE!!! SHAKE!!! SHAKE!!!! Now strain it in a glass (6-8 ounce capacity) over ice. Sprinkle some cinnamon powder over it and serve Chilled.

2.     Mocha Margarita: An energizing combination of tequila, espresso and chocolate Ice cream

This is again a very easy recipe and is prepared in just 3 minutes. Let’s look at the ingredients.

Ingredients:

2 ounces espresso or very strong coffee
1 ounce white tequila
½ cup softened chocolate ice cream
Crushed Ice
Salt and sugar mixture
Procedure:

Take a 6 ounce glass and rub its rim gently with tequila. Now invert it and dip it in the mixture of salt and sugar to coat properly. Now take all the ingredients in the cocktail shaker (except sugar and salt mixture) and shake it well until the ice cream gets lump-free and is in a pourable condition. Now serve it chilled in the Margarita Glass you prepared.

3.     Espresso Martini: Fell in love with this classic combination of coffee and vodka topped with java with a touch of sweetness.

This classic recipe is well known in creating a refreshing impact on the drinker. Espresso Martini requires a perfect blend of vodka, espresso and coffee liqueur. People on diet or who are saving calories can even enjoy this with or without sugar. This cocktail serves as a base for various variations of cocktail recipes made by adding different flavor syrups or chocolates or ice-creams.

I fact, if you are not having a simple syrup, you can easily prepare it at home. Quickly mix hot water with equal parts of sugar and allow it to cool. Syrup is ready!!!

Ingredients:

2 ounces espresso or very strong coffee
1 ounce coffee liqueur
3 coffee beans (for topping)
1 ounce Vodka
Crushed Ice
½ ounce simple syrup
Procedure:

Combine all the ingredients in the shaker except the three coffee beans. Shake it vigorously and strain it in a martini glass. Top it with three coffee beans and serve Chilled!!!

4.     Mint Mojito: A perfect cup of iced coffee for non cocktail drinkers

Well I use some specific tools for making this magical drink. These are:

Equipments:

Chemex 6 cup
Pour over coffee maker
Water kettle
Coffee filter
Muddler
Gram scale (to get the precision of ingredients)
Ingredients:

60 grams medium roasted freshly ground coffee
2 cups of ice
500 ml water
Fresh mint leaves
4 tsp sugar
Milk
Procedure:

yogurt-cofffee-with-crushed-ice

Add ice to your mug
Add coffee to the filter and shake the coffee dripper for even settling of coffee
Pre-infuse the coffee and finish off the brewing process.
Muddle together mint leaves (say 10 leaves) and raw sugar until they are crushed and fragrant.
Add coffee into a pitcher and then add sugar and mint concoction and stir it continuously.
Add ice and top it with a creamy layer of milk and few mint leaves.
Serve Chilled.
To make it tastier you have to be a little patient then. The more the coffee stays in the mug, the more delicious it turned out to be. In fact, keeping the sugar and mint concoction for few minutes in the refrigerator is worth a try.

I hope you enjoyed all the four recopies and Let me know in the comment section below.

If this Continues, Starbucks may lose out completely in the Hands of Competitors

Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz, made a quirky proclamation last year that Starbuck’s huge lifespan is a 20 chapter book and they are still on chapter 4 or 5. Howard used this metaphor to throw light on coffee-shop’s bright future and the best coffee service provider worldwide but one has to tell Mr. Schultz that it the chapter 5, where the twist and turns begin.

If this was all true (as said by Mr CEO) then how to justify the closing of 600 stores worldwide? The reason given was that Starbucks wanted to put breaks on the exponential growth strategy. Isn’t that weird?  What about the decline in market share to 11 % (which is indeed a huge figure) as tracked by xAd Inc.? Let’s go deeper and find out Why Starbucks is losing out on customers? And if this continues then I am afraid to say the company may have a dark future.

dsgh.jpg

Reason 1: Highly Priced

The dissatisfaction is been increasing day by day even among the loyal customers. The items like sandwiches and salads are priced very high as compared to other chains. The pretzel ham and cheese which was quite reasonable, was called off by some Chief financial officer due to lesser profits it was offering. It seems Starbucks is now running some bureaucratic culture. The actual Starbucks experience has been lost somewhere.

Reason 2: Quality is getting de-graded

Starbucks is losing control of its brand due to ubiquity. Starbucks is available almost at every airport, hospital and numerous corporate cafeterias. Managing out on quality at such places is difficult. The good Starbucks memories are turning pale and sour with this kind of culture where at every nick and corner you find a small Starbuck café.

AAEAAQAAAAAAAAYgAAAAJDBiY2I4NmI3LWU0ZjAtNDA4YS1iNTAxLTQ5MTFhZTExMzYwYg.jpg

Reason 3: High attrition rate among employees

Poor staff morale is reflected on their faces. The staff members are prefer going to the competitors like Barista, McDonald’s. It has also been noticed that from the past few years the either the staff is not well trained or they lack technical knowledge about coffee.

Reason 4: No lucrative offers and Mobile ordering delays

Starbucks Corp is facing heavy competition in the market. Locational survey suggests that a huge drift has been noticed towards other chains. Delays on mobile ordering are creating hiccups for the company. They even don’t offer any free service or offers to attract the customers. People prefer a place where they get free/ unlimited Wi-Fi signals or some free cups to relish. They lack in this and if all this continues, there will be a future without Starbucks.

543459.jpeg

There are lot more other reasons like they have replaced the comfortable chairs and wooden tables with the stainless steel ones. The impact is more of an Office than a café.

Javatimescaffe is catching up the coffee market and people love and enjoy the tea, coffee and chocolate over other Mexican Coffee Shop. The ambience is perfect for a Date, get-together or a business meeting. They have an unbeatable record in customer satisfaction. For more information on JTC outlet near your place, visit http://javatimescaffe.com/.
