Chocolate Cup Cakes: A Perfect Sweet Dish to conclude the Dinner

Yes friends, I am going to share some ultra cool recipes for making different types of chocolate cup cakes. These are simply best to say goodbye to dinner. So, gear up with your culinary skills as I am going to start with the recipes. These recipes do not include baking of your cup cakes, we believe you have mastered that. The focus is on presentation and different types of frostings which can be made.

Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 3 cup sugar (powdered)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4tsp salt
  • 1tsp vanilla extract

Mix together cream cheese and butter using an electric mixer on a medium speed for 3 minutes. Now add cocoa powder, salt and sugar and beat them till the mixture is smooth for around 1 min. At the end add the vanilla extract and beat for around 1 minute till the mixture feels like whipped. Your frosting is now ready to be piped.

Nutella Buttercream Frosting

Ingredients:

  • 2 sticks unsalted butter
  • 13-ounce jar Nutella (1)
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1.5 pounds sugar
  • 6-8 tablespoons heavy cream or milk

Combine and beat butter cream and nutella for 5 minutes until fluffy with the help of an electric beater. Add sugar and beat again. Add the remaining ingredients with half of your milk (or heavy cream) and beat at low speed. Now keep adding milk gradually until you attain the whipped consistency.

Tip: To make it more interesting, make a small hole in the center of the cup cake and fill that with nutella. Then do the frosting. It tastes heavenly!!!!

Pecan caramel Frosting

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup shortening
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 7 tablespoons caramel sauce
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • Caramel sauce (for drizzling)
  • Chopped pecans (for topping)

Beat butter and shortening using electric beater till the mixture is smooth. Slowly add sugar and caramel sauce in batches beat them at low speed. Use milk as needed to get the desired consistency of frosting. Now add chopped pecans and gently stir the mixture. Now the frosting is ready to be piped. Drizzle some amount of caramel over it and top it with some pecans.
